Holy cow kids are so funny!!! Today at work a little boy got his school shots and was angry.  Normally kids cry because the medicine in the shot burns, but this little spit fire was angry and his anger was directed towards the one person in the clinic that inflicted that pain.  He told us all about it when he checked out!  "That mean nurse hurt me"- he screamed.  Then when he left, said nurse happened to cross his path, and he pointed at her and screamed at the top of his lungs- "YOU HURT ME!"  All of us lost it.  Kids are great because they aren't presumptuous enough to keep their feelings, postive or negative, hidden inside.

Currently Listening
It's Time
By Michael Bublé

Summer has arrived and Oxford has emptied! Things at work are slow, traffic in town is slow, you can actually park on the square- I love Oxford in the summer!  Memories of summers past accompany the arrival of the beginning of every new summer and the end result is Carrie smiling.  I think back to summers of travel and camp but most of all to the summer 2 years ago after I went of staff with RUF.  That summer was incredible!  The random assortment of people that became so dear and the development of my new interactions with one Mr. Elliott Everitt.  All in all, those 3 months served to remind me that our Father does in fact take care of and lavish His love on His children.  This reminder was not only isolated to meeting Elliott.  I was sought after and enfolded into a group of friends that soothed a part of me that had become so insecure over time.  Our Father's love is so tangible and severe because He knows our deepest needs and desires, and in his goodness, supplies or protects us from them.

Anyway, on a lighter note, I just had a salad from Holiday Deli & Ham and it was very good- free advertisement.
